Osceola County Wins the Build Back Better Regional Challenge
The funding received from the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Build Back Better Regional Challenge will have compounding ripple effects throughout the economy and positions the region to lead the nation in semiconductor reshoring.

- As the Partnership continues to advocate for semiconductor manufacturing funding, through opportunities like Congress’s CHIPS Act, the Orlando region is now at the center of federal leaders’ strategy to invest boldly in the shoring up of our nation’s supply chains and the upgrading lagging infrastructure.

The Center for NeoVation is one of the most technologically advanced manufacturing research centers in the western hemisphere. The Center is currently being utilized by imec, an international research & development organization active in the fields of nanoelectronics and digital technologies, as well as U.S. based foundry Skywater Technologies, which is the current operator of the fabrication facility.
